loosing breast feathers

hi my 3 egg layer warrens have been in the mud and bathing i picked one up today and noticed that the breast feathers have been falling out. they have been wet with the weather and all there but ive given them a good dusting of mite powder just in case, anyone else had this or have you any suggestions

My Silkie who is Broody has a bare lower chest as well. I didn't know if it was because she sits down all the time.

there still laying and arent broody so im not sure unless malting, or just cause of the bad weather cause that is where they seemed to be wet and muddy the most, other than that they seem fine and they have lost a little weight over the winte but nothing drastic

If when they roost they sleep with their chests resting on the perch, that can cause partial loss of feathers on their breast. It could also be a sign of mites.
